AI that earns its place
AI is only as good as the data, the process and the people around it. That’s the part we’ve always been good at. For years we’ve helped organisations turn their data into forecasts, predictions and decisions, and today we build with the latest AI models on the same foundations: clean data, clear requirements and delivery that makes it to production.
Doing this since before it was a thing
We didn’t discover AI in 2023. Our consultants have been building data platforms, forecasts and predictive analytics for clients for years, and machine learning has been part of how we deliver data projects all along.
Where we put AI to work
We apply AI where you already work: your data platform, your finance systems and your CRM. Each card links to the service it builds on.
From prototype to production
Plenty of AI pilots never leave the pilot. Ours are built to go live. We work with you all the way from strategy through development to deployment, and we keep supporting you afterwards.
01
Start with the problem
Every project starts with requirements: we work with your technical and business stakeholders to agree what the AI needs to deliver, and how you’ll know it has.
02
Governance built in
We design for governance from day one: what data the model can see, where it goes, and how its output is checked before anyone relies on it.
03
Deployed where you need it
On-premise, hybrid or cloud, on the platform that suits your data and your security rules.
04
Supported after go-live
Onshore support for what we build, from a few hours of consulting time to a full 24/7/365 service.
Platforms we build with
We’re independent, so we pick the model that fits the job, not the one we’re paid to sell. These are the AI platforms our consultants build with today. We’re also a Microsoft Data and AI Solutions Partner.
Claude, OpenAI, Microsoft, Copilot, Gemini and Cohere are trademarks of their respective owners.
We teach it too. Knowing how to use AI well is a skill, and most organisations have it unevenly spread. So we run training and events on it, for our clients and for conference audiences. The best known is Project JEMini.
Project JEMini: an AI escape room
AI fatigue is real. Half the room switched off after the third “transformation” keynote. The other half are already using AI, confidently and well outside anything governance has signed off. JEMini gets both groups working on the same problem, together, in half a day, without a single lecture.
JEMini is an AI-literacy experience in escape-room format, created and run by Praesto Consulting. It works for groups of 12 to 1,200, in person or hybrid, in the UK or the US, for corporate teams and conference delegates. And because we’re independent, nobody is selling you a platform at the end of it.

The AI Survival Guide
A short presentation: nine principles for using AI well at work.
02
The investigation
Teams investigate Zero Touch, a fictional company whose leadership decreed that “AI should touch everything, so humans don’t have to”. Eight puzzle stations, each built on an AI principle: hallucination, over-trust, bad automation, governance drift and more.

The debrief
We take the lessons out of the game and back into your own work.

Let’s talk about AI
